A.C. Laker was born in Kent, England in 1943 and taken to London as a child immediately following WWII to live with her grandparents.  Married young and after having one child was divorced and was, from then on, a single parent for 16 years.  After leaving England in 1965 she  travelledto New Zealand, Australia and countries in Europe with her young daughter.  She has one child, a daughter, one grandchild a girl, two great grandsons, a wonderful dog and a faithful old cat.

She is the author of four novels, one published,  four EBooks published, with more comin, a book of short stories, g a children's series, and over 5000 articles and blogs for websites and ezines.  She settled in British Columbia Canada, on beautiful Vancouver Island, where she works at home as a full time freelance writer.
